The AUTO_FORM subsystem must be started for automatic merges and for other functions e.g. concat of PDF files and load of images via the graphical designer.
The AUTO_FORM subsystem can be started in these ways:
1.From the Auto Forms Control menu via option 10. Start AUTO_FORM subsystem.
2.With the command, STRSBS APF3812/AUTO_FORM (remember to refer to the new name of the Auto_form subsystem, if it has been renamed or moved.
3.It can be started when your IBM i is IPL'd with is recommended. For that you should add the commands in the IPL startup program (QSTRUPPGM):
STRSBS APF3812/AUTO_FORM
MONMSG CPF0000
Please coordinate such a change with your system administrator.
