The shortcut create components for the workflow are used for a bit more unusual requests e.g. if you want to create a PDF, that should be digitally signed or encrypted or if you want to print on an unregistered printer, or if you e.g. want to save the print output to a file.
The create components are:
1.Create direct protocol component: Merge an input file with a template to create the print data stream in the direct protocol format. This can later be sent to a (label) printer, that supports direct protocol.
2.Create PCL document: Merge an input file with a template to create the print data stream in the PCL format. This can later be sent to a (laser) printer, that supports PCL.
3.Create PDF document: Merge an input file with a template to create a PDF file. The PDF file is not directly stored anywhere, but can be encrypted or digitally signed before it is created as a file or attached to an email.
4.Create ZPL document: Merge an input file with a template to create the print data stream in the ZPLII print format. This can later be sent to a (label) printer, that supports ZPLII
5.Print on direct socket printer: Merge an input file with a template to create the print data stream in the format of your choice. This is sent directly to an unregistered printer, that is addressed via its name or IP-address via port 9100. In order to use this you need to have a license for InterFormNG2, that supports unlimited number of printers.
6.Print on LPD printer: Merge an input file with a template to create the print data stream in the format of your choice. This is sent directly to an unregistered printer, that is addressed via its name/IP-address and share. In order to use this you need to have a license for InterFormNG2, that supports unlimited number of printers.
