DBCS input spooled files are supported by InterForm400. The merged output is unicode.
In order to use DBCS spooled files for merges, you need to select the DBCS codepage on the merge.
In Auto Forms Control that is setup either on the input spooled attribute or via F10=additional parameters on the AFC output queue setup.
