With this icon you can insert a line in the template:

You can insert a line (after selecting this element) by dragging the mouse (with the left mouse button held down) in the result view in the area, where the line should be inserted. The thickness of the line is set via a previous Line and box style.

 

The element properties shows the coordinates of the element in the measurement selected. To resize the line you can change these positions.

 

 

The example above is a horizontal line 1 cm from the top, which starts 1 cm from the left and ends 20 cm from the left. The positions can also be set via an offset variable.
