InterFormNG Manual 2020

These are the limitations for ZPL output:

The color element is not supported. If you want to print white inside a black box, then you should simply print the elements on top of each other. Generally printing something twice in the same position will cause the print out to be comes white (XOR). This is same functionality as for Direct protocol.

Rounded corners for boxes are not supported. Rounded corners are printed as sharp.

The resolution of ZPL printers is normally lower than for PCL compatible printers. This will normally cause the barcodes to be larger on a ZPL compatible printer compared to the same barcode on a PCL printer. The potential size difference is larger on a low resolution printer (203 DPI) compared to a higher resolution (300 DPI).

ZPLII supports a module size in QR barcode sizes of up to 10 dots. If larger barcodes are needed, then InterFormNG will create an image of the barcode and use that, thus causing a slower print speed for larger barcodes.
