The template selection is what is normally meant, when we in InterFormNG refer to Workflow. In the template selection you can define multiple rules, which are triggered depending on attributes and contents of an input file. In the rules you set the output, that you want.

 

The workflow can be configured generally (unconditioned rules can e.g. be ignored) and the workflow can even be disabled under General settings.

 

With a new installation you will see this setup, when you select Workflow and Template selection in the web interface:

 

 

Each rule contains a condition to select specific input XML files, the transformation can alter the contents of the input XML file, before executing various actions with the meta data keys set in the right column.
