This section covers the options via which you can request a reprint. You have the possibilities described below:

 

Request reprint manually via browser

If you prefer to enter the Reprint key in a browser, you can use this link:

http://localhost:1885/reprint

 

,where:

 

localhost

Means the IP-address or server name of the server, that is running InterFormNG.

 

1885

Is the default port number of InterFormNG web service, but that can be set to a different value.

 

When you go to this site, you are prompted for the unique reprint key:

Now you can request the reprint by entering it in the field above. If possible you might even use a scanner to input the unique key.

 

When you press Enter, you will the answer to the request. If successful you will see this:

Request a reprint while logged on

If you are logged on to the web administration of InterFormNG, then you can request a reprint if you select Tools and Reprint as below. To request a reprint you enter the Label ID and click the Reprint icon.

Request reprint directly via a link

If/when you want to reprint any of the pages you can just refer to this link: http://localhost:1885/reprint/labelID

 

,where:

 

labelID

Is one of the values set for the ReprintKey meta data key during processing.

 

The result of the reprint request is a print out of the specific page containing the specific value.

 

 

Possible error messages

During processing of reprints the following error messages might appear in the log:

 

Error messages:

 

No reprint data found (dataFile missing)

Maybe you forgot to configure log4j-service.properties

 

No records with labelId = labelId found

Did you enter the right labelID?

 

XML data not found (xmlFile)

XML files are only saved for 3 hours or until the service is restarted

 

Can't connect to network plugin (port 9091)

Network plugin is not enabled
