InterForm400 creates a log of all emails, that have been sent. The emails can be stored in the IFS, and e.g. be opened from there, but it is much easier to find, open and see the status of the emails via the InterForm400 email log.
Please notice, that you can only open sent emails from the email log options if the emails has not been sent via IBM SMTP. It is recommended to use InterForm400 SMTP instead.
It is very important to remember to purge/delete old emails on a regular basis.
The email log can be reached in 3 ways:
1.Via the command, APF3812/WRKMAILLOG
2.Via the InterForm400 menu, if you select option:
80. Administering InterForm400
50. Email administration
5. Work with email log
This option works exactly like the APF3812/WRKMAILLOG command.
3.Via a browser.
The user is only able to see emails, for which the user is authorized.
