InterForm400 includes many functions, that can change the spooled file contents and attributes. The functions are:

.The command, APF3812/APFEDTPRT. This command can be used for manually editing a spooled file e.g. for testing.

.The enrich finishing definition can e.g. copy header information in spooled files to the detail line to enable you to e.g. use conditioned overlays, that are conditioned on data from both the header and the detail lines.

.A split definition can not only split up an input spooled file, but also add additional data e.g. found via a user program or via SQL statements.

.Change spooled file attributes in Auto Forms Control.

.Output Schedule Control (OSC) to merge multiple spooled files into one, and sort the result e.g. for further processing.

.Sort definitions can be used for rearranging the sequence of pages in a spooled file.

.The reformat definitions can be used, if you want to reformat your spooled files and redistribute the detail lines across fewer or more spooled file pages.

.The Spooled File Inspector can search an input spooled file for a special text and change the form type of the spooled file to indicate if the text was found or not.

.The Pagebuilder program. This can be used for changing the contents and create a new, changed spooled file. RPG programming is required.

.The program, APF3812/PRSCOPY can be used for duplicating pages in the input spooled file.

.Get spooled file attributes. That can be done via a split exit program (parameter list 3) or via a program based on the demo source GETSPLFA02, which e.g. can be called from a FUNKT_8 (or FUNKT_8_2) program via 8=Call Program in Auto Forms Control.

.It is possible to create a new spooled file with the pages in reverse order with an OMR finishing definition. For that you should use the type: 01 = Pitney Bowes OMR and place the OMR marks outside the printable area.
